Nocturne - Zoë LeBrun

Zoë LeBrun's nocturne received a jury prize at Montreal Underground Film Festival! nocturne debuted at Temporal Landscapes in Winnipeg as a part of VPMAC's Video Commission Residency, a "residency / artwork commission focused on experimental, single-channel video artworks."

"The abyss of lossy visuals we're gently asked to surrender to was both inviting and foreboding; the work felt like it was being delivered by a surveillance camera from another dimension monitoring a shimmering petri dish full of mysterious time-lapse disintegrating portals, pixels, fractals, and static."

- Rick Trembles, MUFF Jurer

Congrats to LeBrun and all of the Jury Prize winners for 2026!
