Introduction to After Effects
After Effects is a digital animation tool with a range of possibilities that is virtually limitless. After Effects allows users to animate, alter, and composite media with various built-in tools and third party plug-ins. Filmmakers can use After Effects to alter and enhance video images, create animated sequences and fun titles. Learn the basic operations of this software in this introductory workshop.

About the instructor: Leslie Supnet is a Winnipeg based moving image artist who utilizes animation, found media, lo-fi and experimental practices to create documents of her personal vision. She is currently pursuing her MFA at York University, and teaches animation workshops with various artist-run centres. Her work has screened at microcinemas, galleries and film festivals such as Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, Images Festival, Antimatter, Melbourne International Animation Festival, VIDEOEX and various others.
