New Memberships & Member Rates

After much deliberation, we've finally come to a very important change for our members!

Introducing, our new memberships!

PSU Membership (10$) - This membership is intended as an entry point for folks who want to participate in some of VP’s activities (joining the board and committees), or just to support the organization. The membership allows for a vote at our AGM, and rentals of The Output.

 

CPU Membership (100$) - This membership is for:

• Individual Artists
• Artist-Collectives
• Artist-Run Centre with an annual operating budget of 750,000$ / yr or less

who want to create and exhibit non-commercial, tech-based art using our equipment and facilities at significantly reduced rates. Membership allows for a vote at our AGM, and a discounted rate for our workshops, and rentals of The Output.

 

GPU Membership (200$) - This membership is for:

• Commercial purposes
• Organizations with an operating budget of more than $750,000 per year.

It allows access to our equipment and suites, but at a cost that supports VP’s initiatives on a larger scale. This membership also allows for rentals of The Output.

 

Motherboard Membership (650$) - This membership is for Individual Artists who want to fully engage with VP’s equipment and facilities to explore their creative practice. All rental fees are waived. Membership allows for a vote at our AGM, and a discounted rate for our workshop, and rentals of The Output.

 

We have also simplified our rental rates. Most folks who have current memberships have been moved to the CPU membership. This gives folks access to the reduced Art Production Rate (the former Student / Producer rate), meaning most of our members will be paying less for their rentals.

We encourage folks to use our equipment and facilities for their commercial projects as well, but we ask that you understand that our mandate doesn't support this, so folks who are using our facilities for this will be paying the Commercial Rate (the former Organizational Rate)
