This is an opportunity to hone some digital skills!
VPMAC is a leader in digitizing work for folks, from large institutions to your parents old VHS tapes. We're currently looking for someone to work on contract, as needed, to digitize the work in both audio and video formats. At the moment, that amounts to about 120+ total hours, but there will always be more. How the hours are used up is flexible, so long as they fit within the clients timeline for delivery.
The successful candidate will have some audio production skills:
- Some knowledge of Pro Tools
- Knowledge of setting appropriate gain on inputs
- Editing files and exporting them to the right format
- Processing files using plugins, understanding of EQ and dynamics
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
Support from technical staff will be ongoing, but the ability to pickup new skills and work independently is paramount. The video digitization portion is very straightforward and needs no previous experience. If you're feeling like you might be able to do this, you probably can.
Please contact Eusebio to discuss this further. Email is best, but IG messages will be checked as well.
