Media Arts Residency: 2018-2019
A big welcome to the latest round of media-artists-in-residence at Video Pool! Over the next 11 months or so we’ll be sharing some of their work-in-progress, please stay tuned.
Introduction to Camera Workshop with Wendy Buelow
In this one evening class we will be working with Video Pool’s HD cameras – Sony FS700, FS100, NEX EA50, with a short intro to the 4K cameras at the end of class. Participants will learn to use the auto and manual settings of these cameras, gaining greater control to produce video of the highest quality. Exposure, white balance, gain control, shutter, audio, zebra stripes and more! We will have hands-on practise with these cameras, and discuss how to manage the media after the shoot.
WNDX – Exhibition: Random Variables
Random Variables curated by Ushmita Sahu brings together a group of young video-art practitioners from across India. Video art is a relatively late entrant in the Indian contemporary art scene and it has gradually made its way into art school curriculums only in the last decade or so, leading to a crop of young artists working with moving images.
