Developing the ability to focus your listening & awareness to sound within an environment is essential for effective field recording. Being able to focus your hearing beyond what you see requires both the practice and acknowledgement of being present within time + space. This workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore their own relationship with sound and acquire the basic understanding of the equipment needed through hands on experience recording in the field.
