An Introduction to Adobe Animate CC

Adobe Animate CC is an essential tool for artists who wish to create moving images for traditional video and film, experimental and web-based, interactive animation and media.
This course will cover the new potential and use of this newly refurbished and powerful visual media asset along with a hands-on in class use.

Instructor:Â Murray Toews
About the instructor:
Murray’s creative work spans the disciplines and media of drawing, film, audio-art and analog hand-drawn animation. He received a BFA first class honours degree with a thesis in advanced drawing.
Murray utilizes a “process-driven” animation technique that creates rapidly animated shorts.
He curated “Animator/Re-Animator” with screenings in Canada and Japan and in 2009 he created a series of animated shorts for Manufacturing Malfunction 3.0.
In 2012, his animated short Thought Camera, Reel One: “Circus of Objects” was the official selection for the NSI Online Short Film Festival.
“10 Years Before Happiness” is his latest short hybrid animation film.
