Calling all potters, glass blowers, blacksmiths, spinners, weavers, knitters, crocheters, fibre artists, costumers, sewists, and anyone incorporating old or new technology into their practice.

From analog craft to experimental fabrication, if it’s handmade by you, Steve wants you to apply.

STEVE’S INDEPENDENT MAKERS FAIR celebrates independent making across craft, art, and technology, bringing together handmade objects, unconventional tools, curious processes, and artist-driven production under one roof.

This event is a fundraiser for VP Media Arts Centre. Funds raised help VP continue supporting experimental media arts and fostering curiosity, creativity, and open exploration of technology across all art forms. VP suports adventurous, independent, and niche approaches to art and technology through presentation, production, distribution, and education, while supporting the wider arts community through accessible programming, facilities, and technical expertise.
