Video Pool Media Arts Centre is excited to announce the launch of the 2nd Video Commission Residency (VCR): Vol.2 Prairie Fever.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS JUNE 16, 2024.

We are currently inviting submissions from artists based in Treaty 1 territory.

Job Posting: Collections and Digitization Assistant

Video Pool Media Arts Centre is hiring for the position of Digitization and Collections Assistant. This is a 12-week position at 30 hours/week. This position is supported by the Young Canada Works program, as such, we are looking for a current student under the age of 30 who will be returning to school in the fall.

VP Has a New Online Catalogue!

Video Pool Media Arts Centre is pleased to announce the launch of our new online video and film catalogue. Established in 1983 and with works dating back to the 1960s, our collection features over 2,200 titles by more than 600 artists. With a focus on video art from the prairies, the VP catalogue charts a history of creative experimentation in the media arts which continues to this day.
