Media Arts + Technology Residency 2024- Call for Applications
Welcome to MATR 2024!
Video Pool Media Arts Centre is pleased to announce our upcoming Media Art + Technology Residency (MATR). MATR is designed to be a site-specific exploration of VP’s intimate Poolside Gallery where artists will have up to six weeks to develop and install a new work that responds to and utilizes the gallery’s characteristics. MATR specifically supports experimental, independent, technology-based works and we welcome submissions that focus on a large variety of mediums, approaches, and aesthetics.

Active Research Lecture by Kegan McFadden
PLATFORM is excited to co-present this Active Research Lecture with Video Pool Media Arts Centre. In conjunction with the artist’s exhibition, A Sepearate Peace, McFadden will be presenting an Active Research Lecture on 21 April at 6PM at the Output. A Separate Peace is distrubuted by Video Pool Media Arts Centre.Â
Being & Belonging – Day With(out) Art 2022
Video Pool Media Arts Centre is proud to partner with Visual Aids for Day With(out) Art 2022 by presenting BEING & BELONGING, a program of seven new videos centering the emotional reality of living with HIV today.
The program features new work by Clifford Prince King, Jaewon Kim, Mikiki, Davina “Dee” Conner & Karin Hayes, Camila Arce, Jhoel Zempoalteca & La Jerry, and Camilo Acosta Huntertexas & Santiago Lemus.
