A/V Performance + Rehearsal Venue

The Output is available to rent for rehearsals, A/V performances, theatrical productions, private functions and more. For more information, e-mail venue@videopool.org

Rental rates are offered on a sliding scale to ensure artists and community members have access to our venue at the fairest possible price. Special rates are offered for bookings with an experimental Media Art focus.

The Output Includes:

COMMUNITY / ARTIST RATE

These rates are for activities conducted by individuals with independent creative practices or independent community members.

Renters have the option of paying $50 for clean up after the event.

Any level of Membership is eligible for this rate

Public Event Rental

Up to 5 hours: $187

Includes VP staffing for bar/concession
Must be able to set up and tear down within 5 hours
Additional hours can be booked for an additional cost

Private Rental

Half-Day Rate (4 hours): $72/half-day

Daily Rate (8 hours): $127/day

Lockout Rate: $154/day

Note: We offer 25% discounts for 6 or more consecutive Daily or Lockout rentals.

Non-Profit Rate

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION RATE

These rates are for non-profit organizations and small groups/collectives with an annual budget of less than $750,000. Media arts activities can request a sponsorship or co-presentation that VP will consider on a case-by-case basis. Decisions will be based on funding, type of activity and how it aligns with VP’s mission and mandate.

Renters have the option of paying $50 for clean up after the event.

Any level of Membership is eligible for this rate.

For-Profit Rate

FOR PROFIT + LARGE ORGANIZATION RATE

These rates are for For-profit companies and activities as well as large, well funded organizations with average annual budgets greater than $750,000. Artist-run centres, regardless of their budget, will access the Non-profit rate. Exceptions may apply based on a request through a written application.

Renters have the option of paying $50 for clean up after the event.

No Membership is required for this rental category
