An ever changing group of dancers and musicians come together on First Fridays in the Exchange to perform live improvisation. Initiated in 2019 by studio partners Emma Dal Monte, Trevor Pick, and Alex Elliott, LPI is back. Live Performed Improvisation (LPI) invites you to The Output on December 2nd for an evening of reflection, gathering, and celebration. Alex would like to dedicate this performance to a Visual Artist she met through her Forever-Mentor Tedd Robinson. We really hope to see you there.

PLEASE NOTE: This performance will take place as part of the World AIDS day programming and will take place between screenings of Day With(out) Art.

About The Artist

After performing her own work in New York, Alex Elliott and Hurricane Sandy came face to face. Physically demanding and emotionally charged, her work made it back to her hometown of Winnipeg and beyond. Her dances have been produced in New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Halifax. Alex thanks the late Tedd Robinson for his ecstasy charged commission Logarian Rhapsody. She is the Director of Art Holm, a multidisciplinary performance series in Winnipeg.
