Welcome Ashkan Nejadebrahimi to the VP Team
VPMAC is very excited to welcome Ashkan as our new Technical Director
Ashkan will be starting May 5th, and he's going to be an excellent fit for the team here, bringing a wealth of experience, skills and kindness to the organization.

Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, Ashkan Nejadebrahimi is a Winnipeg-based multidisciplinary artist and motion media specialist. He holds a BFA from the University of Tehran and an MFA from the University of Manitoba.
His work has been exhibited in Iran and Canada, and his practice spans drawing, video, and installation, with a focus on mark-making, memory, and the intersection of imagination and reality. In addition to his artistic practice, Ashkan has collaborated with filmmakers, video artists, and media practitioners as a video editor and technical collaborator.
From 2023 to 2026, he developed and managed the Motion Media section at the University of Manitoba School of Art, known as the Sound Stage, supporting students and faculty in video, sound, and media-based production.
